We have an ongoing locums assignment for an Urgent Care physician in Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for part-time coverage with no call responsibilities, offering a great work-life balance.

Practice Setting
- Outpatient Urgent Care clinic
- Handles all patient ages
- Support staff includes experienced NPs, RNs, LPNs, and MAs
- Physician may be solo provider during limited morning hours
- Patient volume is shared between 3 providers
Schedule
- Seeking locums coverage starting Spring 2026
- Ongoing, long-term interim need
- Mix of 12-hour shifts available
Procedures and Cases
- Standard Urgent Care cases (cough, flu, UTI, rashes)
- Some Ortho, splinting, and suturing
- Foreign body eye removal
- STD testing and pelvic exams
Requirements
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Must hold an active Illinois state license or IMLC (LOQ) on hand.
- Requires PALS, ATLS, and CSR certifications
- Minimum 24 months of relevant experience
Credentialing Requirements
- Standard credentialing process
- Plan for 120 days for privileges
- Temporary privileges are not available
Travel Accommodations
