General Surgery locums opportunity in North Dakota with no call and a flexible monthly schedule. Help launch a new service line in a rural hospital.

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based inpatient and outpatient mix
• Full support staff with CRNA assistance
• Only surgeon on-site; ideal for physicians comfortable working independently

Schedule

• Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Friday monthly
• Day 1: Evaluations, Day 2: Surgeries, Day 3: Follow-ups
• Volume will ramp up as program grows

Cases and Procedures

• Routine general surgery — no scopes or OB
• Adults primarily, with occasional minor pediatric procedures
• Expect 2–3 patients/day, 4–6 on surgery days as volume increases

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in General Surgery
• ACLS, PALS, and DEA required
• Active North Dakota license or willingness to obtain

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, rental car, mileage, and lodging all covered
• On-call room available with private bathroom, fridge, and microwave
