    Cherokee Nation Outpatient Health Center is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, and adolescents in a supportive, patient-centered clinical environment. The Pediatric Dentist will focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric dental conditions while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for pediatric patients and their families.

    • Patient volume varies based on case complexity
    • General treatment scheduled hourly from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Appointment time adjusted as needed for more complex cases
    • Preventive and restorative pediatric dental care
    • Diagnosis and treatment of pediatric dental conditions
    • Management of anxious or fearful pediatric patients using child-friendly techniques
    • Nitrous oxide available in all treatment rooms
    • Operating Room (OR) access available for appropriate cases
    • Dedicated Dental Assistants assigned
    • 2–3 treatment columns with staff allocated per column
    • Full clinical and operational support within the outpatient dental department
    • Provide high-quality pediatric dental care in accordance with best practices
    • Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans
    • Foster a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for children
    • Collaborate with dental staff and other healthcare professionals
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
    • Participate in quality improvement and patient education initiatives
    • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
    • Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program
    • Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Dentistry (preferred)
    • Active, unrestricted dental license (or eligibility)
    • Experience treating infants, children, and adolescents
    • Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
