  • The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension within the Department of Medicine is currently seeking Nephrology physician candidates for faculty positions in the Health Sciences Clinical series at the level of Assistant Professor or above.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The physician will be expected to teach fellows and attend the following clinical services: inpatient consults with supervision of fellows-in-training, outpatient dialysis, and ambulatory clinics, among others.

    Unique areas of expertise include:

    Glomerulonephritis, onconephrology kidney stones, hypertension, home dialysis, interventional nephrology, critical care nephrology, and other relevant areas would be appreciated and may be preferred for some of these positions.

    Schedule:

    80% Clinical 20% Teaching

    • 4-8 Patient Care Sessions per week, split as 2 sessions per day 0800-1200 & 1300-1700
    • 1 half to full day Dialysis Rounds per week
    • 15 Weeks of Hospital Rounds per year: Mon-Sunday per week from 0800-1700

    Qualifications:

    • M.D /D.O. or equivalent degree
    • Unrestricted CA Medical License
    • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Nephrology

    Benefits include:

    • $281,574 - $391,725 compensation package based on qualifications, training, and experience
