Southwest Medical Associates (SMA), an Optum company, is Nevada’s largest multi-specialty practice, with over 350 physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Our facilities include 22 medical offices, with 6 urgent cares clinics, 7 convenient care clinics, two lifestyle centers catering to seniors and two outpatient surgery centers. The practice is fully integrated and includes home health, complex disease management, pharmacy services, medical management and palliative care. SMA is actively engaged in population health management, with an emphasis on outcomes, and offers patients compassionate, innovative and high-quality care throughout Nevada. SMA is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We are seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician to join our Las Vegas, NV clinic.

Position Description:

  • Provide excellent clinical pediatric services as required by Southwest Medical Associates, adopting best practices and practicing evidence-based medicine
  • Provide comprehensive care in clinic to a broad range of pediatric patients from birth to 18 years of age with diverse pathological conditions and medical complications; also responsible for vaccine management
  • Flexible scheduling available with the option for a 4-day work week in order to support a healthy work/life balance

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted, NP/PA-C active licensure in the State of NV or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Current NV DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Pediatrics experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
