Newborn Pediatric Hospitalist Locum Opportunity – Minnesota

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to support a hospital-based nursery and ED consult service in Minnesota, with ASAP start and a 6-month contract (extensions possible). This facility is looking for reliable coverage, especially during the upcoming holidays (1.5x holiday pay!).

📍 Location: Minnesota 🗓️ Start Date: ASAP 📋 Contract Length: 6 months with option to extend 🕐 Schedule: Daily 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM 💻 EMR: Epic 🏥 Setting: Community Hospital – Nursery/ED only

👶 Clinical Scope: • Newborn nursery rounding (up to 16 babies total) • Attend neonatal codes • Perform circumcisions • ED pediatric consults only – no admissions • ~3,000 deliveries/year • 9–13 patients/day

👨‍⚕️ Support & Team: • Call room and clinical support provided • On-site neonatologist (hours vary) • Transfers go to larger affiliated hospitals – no inpatient pediatric unit

✅ Requirements: • Board Certified in Pediatrics • Minnesota License – Required • DEA + ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP • Must have completed ACGME/AOA-accredited Pediatric Residency • Experience: New grads welcome (0–2 yrs accepted)
