Lead. Teach. Earn. Become a PA Surgery Preceptor in Missouri

AMOpportunities (AMO) is seeking qualified surgical preceptors in Missouri to host A.T. Still University PA students for upcoming 5-week clinical rotations in Fall 2025. Whether you’re a PA, MD, DO, or NP with surgical experience, this is a rewarding chance to mentor future healthcare professionals while maintaining your normal clinical workflow.

These are hands-on inpatient surgical rotations—General Surgery not required—ideal for any surgical specialty that includes inpatient experience.

Rotation Details

• Dates: • October 6 – November 7, 2025 (3 students) • November 10 – December 12, 2025 (2 students)
• Schedule: 5 weeks, minimum 34 hours/week
• Student Requirements: • Minimum of 8 quality, hands-on patient encounters per 8-hour shift • Participation in or performance (with supervision) of H&P, differential, diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment planning

Preceptor Requirements

• Licensed and practicing PA, MD, DO, or NP
• Surgical specialty with inpatient component (General, Ortho, Trauma, etc.)
• Board certified in your specialty
• CV and active medical license required
• Completion of a Preceptor & Clinical Site Info Form
• Participation in signing an Affiliation Agreement with A.T. Still University
• Completion of school’s Preceptor Orientation & Manual (library guide provided)
• End-of-rotation evaluations submitted directly to the school
