Neurology Physician (Board Certified/Eligible)

Firm Fixed Price (FFP) | Full-Time | Onsite

1-Year Base Period (With possible extensions through four 1-year option periods)

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call coverage: Evenings, weekends, and federal holidays
• On-call response: Phone within 15 mins, onsite within 60 mins

The VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologists to provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neurology services to eligible veterans. Physicians will join a dynamic clinical team, offering neurological consults, diagnostics, and continuity of care in accordance with VA performance standards and directives.

• Evaluate and manage patients with neurological disorders
• Conduct outpatient clinic visits (approx. 30 patients per clinic)
• Participate in inpatient consults, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment
• Provide test result follow-ups in accordance with VHA Directive 1088
• Respond to on-call requests during off-hours and holidays
• Complete documentation in compliance with VA policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and residents
• Participate in credentialing, performance evaluations, and CME

✅ Required:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neurology (ABIM)
• BLS and ACLS certification (current)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
• Must meet all credentialing requirements outlined by VHA Directive 1100.20/21

✅ Preferred:

• 3–5 years of recent neurology experience
• Experience in federal healthcare or VA system
