Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity - Ongoing (1 week a month)

🗓️ Schedule

1–3 weeks per month

24-hour call: Friday 5:00 PM – Friday 5:00 PM

Weekdays (M–F):

Start at 7:00 AM

Rounding, consults, and procedures

⚕️ Clinical Details

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Mix of inpatient-focused GI care with some outpatient procedures

Perform 4–6 procedures daily (combination of inpatient + limited outpatient)

Responsibilities include:

Rounding

Consults

Endoscopic procedures

📌 Majority of work is inpatient

🔧 Procedures

General GI procedures

No ERCP or EUS required

📞 Call Expectations

24-hour call coverage throughout assignment

Balanced workload with structured weekday responsibilities

✅ Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

BLS & ACLS required

Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC

DEA required

Minimum 1 year experience
