Hospitalist opportunities available in beautiful New England

HMS is seeking an experienced and dedicated Hospitalist to work closely with our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in internal medicine, a passion for hospital-based medicine, and a strong belief that the best medical care requires a personalized approach. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenges of working as part of a medical team as well as the benefits of a comprehensive compensation package.

• 7am-7pm

• Ideal Rotation: 7on-7off

• Census: 8-11/day

Hospitalist Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of hospitalized patients in consultation with specialists.

• Diagnose and treat hospital patients in accordance with the medical staff's standards of care.

• Record and communicate patient information via EMR system

• Provide advice on pertinent medical issues.

• Create treatment plans for acute and chronic patients.

• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team.'

Staffing Model:

o Day: 1 MD (12 hr), 1 APP (12hr)

o Night: 1 Nocturnist (12 hr)
