We are recruiting a Rheumatologist to join our collaborative, mission-driven organization delivering innovative primary, specialty, and emergency care to a socioeconomically and culturally diverse patient population.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Guaranteed base salary range: $245,000–$285,000, based on years of experience
    • Total compensation includes base salary plus production incentive

    • 32 hours of scheduled clinical patient care per week
    • 8 hours of asynchronous clinical administrative time

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Provide high-quality outpatient rheumatology care to an adult patient population
    • Practice within a three-physician rheumatology group integrated into a larger multidisciplinary MSK team
    • Collaborate closely with primary care, orthopaedics, and other specialty providers
    • Document patient care using the Epic electronic medical record
    • Participate in formal and informal teaching of: Tufts University Family Medicine residents
    • Deliver patient-centered care aligned with CHA’s commitment to equity, safety, and respect

    Qualifications

    • Successful completion of an accredited residency program
    • Board Certified in Rheumatology (Board Eligible considered for new graduates)
    • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skill
    • Collaborative, team-oriented, and approachable practice style
    • Demonstrated commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations
    • Experience in an academic or safety-net health system preferred

    Academic Appointment

    • CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School
    • Position includes eligibility for an HMS appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor
    • Academic rank determined by HMS criteria, qualifications, and teaching commitment
