North Carolina GI - Call-Only Coverage, No ERCP-EUS
We have an excellent locum tenens opportunity for a Gastroenterologist in North Carolina. This assignment offers a desirable work-life balance with a predictable, call-only schedule for an ongoing need starting in 2026.
Highlights
- This is a 100% call coverage assignment.
- ERCP and EUS experience is not required.
- Work only 7-10 days per month.

Practice Setting
- This is an inpatient-only setting.
- Typical daily volume is 6-15 consults.
- Expect 2-6 admissions while on-call.
- Patient population is adults only.
Schedule
- 24-hour call responsibility.
- Requires a 30-minute response time.
- Coverage is needed on an ongoing basis.
- Commitment is for 7-10 days per month.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Active North Carolina medical license.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Requires 12 months of post-training experience.
Credentialing Requirements
- Full credentialing support is provided.
- The process typically takes 60-90 days.
