  • Our growing Division of Hematology/Oncology and Penn State Cancer Institute, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is inviting applications for a faculty position on either tenure or non-tenure track at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level in the division with focus on solid tumor oncology – especially GI, thoracic or melanoma/cutaneous malignancies and sarcoma. The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong expertise and track record in clinical care, translational and clinical investigations in the above selected areas of oncology diseases. The level of faculty appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience and training. Successful candidates will have a commitment to building an academic research-centric program within the Cancer Institute. The Penn State Cancer Institute is a CoC-accredited and ACR accredited cancer program. It is the only comprehensive cancer center in central PA and provides a robust infrastructure for clinical trials and translational research facilities.

     

    Job requirements for this position include:

     

    • Medical Degree- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
    • Completion of an accredited residency and hematology/oncology fellowship program
    • Eligible for licensure for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
    • Board certification/eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
    • Clinical research background
