Position: CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) Location: UConn John Dempsey Hospital – 100 Hospital Drive, Farmington, CT 06030 Start Date: July 11, 2025 End Date: January 1, 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour days, 40 hrs/week) Duration: 25 weeks Setting: Inpatient Operating Room & Ambulatory Surgery Centers EMR: EPIC

UConn Health is seeking a full-time locum CRNAs to provide anesthesia services in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. You'll be part of a collaborative care team in a non-designated trauma center performing a wide variety of cases, with no OB, hearts, or pediatrics.

• General Surgery
• Neuro & Spine
• Vascular
• Orthopedics
• Robotic Surgery
• Thoracic
• Endoscopy
• OB (based on experience/competency)

No transplant or designated trauma cases; cardiac handled by a separate team.

• Administer and manage general, regional, and neuraxial anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and anesthesia waveforms
• Place and manage central/arterial lines as needed
• Collaborate within a care team model (MD:CRNA ratio 1:3 or 1:4)
• Rotate between the main OR and surgery centers (based on assignment)
• Active Connecticut CRNA license
• Board Certified
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Prior experience with a wide surgical case mix preferred
• Ability to perform epidurals, spinals, and regional blocks based on competency
• Local candidates highly preferred
• 12 Main ORs, 5 outpatient surgery centers, 4 GI rooms
• Privileging process: 45–60 days
• Malpractice coverage provided
• No floating or night call required
• Worked hours (not guaranteed hours)
