Pediatric Rehab PMR | Columbia, SC

Aya Healthcare is seeking coverage support for a pediatric rehabilitation setting in Columbia, South Carolina. This is a short, defined coverage block supporting an established rehab service with a consistent daily flow, strong ancillary support, and Epic documentation.

Job Details • Specialty focus: Pediatric Rehabilitation PMR • Dates: June 19, 2026 through June 29, 2026 • Coverage type: Scheduled only, no call • Daily volume: Approximately 5 patients • Patient population: Pediatrics and adolescents

Work Details • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00a to 5:00p • Setting: Acute care hospital based pediatric rehab unit • Support staff: 1–2 RNs, 1 rehab tech, 3 therapists • Advanced practice support: Supervising 2 experienced PAs who assist with notes, orders, and family communication • Weekly interdisciplinary team conference on Thursdays with full rehab services present • No new patient admissions during coverage window and limited discharges when possible • EMR: Epic • Equipment: Standard hospital equipment with specialized rehab tools including ceiling mounted walking track

Requirements • South Carolina license in hand • BLS and PALS • Board certification not required • Clean background • Comfortable supervising PAs in a rehab setting

This role is ideal for adult PMR or pediatric rehab providers who are comfortable stepping into an established pediatric program with strong team support and predictable days. Columbia offers a central South Carolina location with a historic downtown, riverfront parks, and an easy day‑to‑day commute.
