Arc Health is seeking mission-driven, Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for two impactful locum tenens assignments serving tribal communities in Chinle, Arizona and South Dakota. These roles offer the chance to deliver high-quality care while immersing yourself in culturally rich, scenic environments.
- Chinle, AZ: Serve at a 60-bed hospital in the heart of the Navajo Nation, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Canyon de Chelly. This role is primarily outpatient, with flexibility to support across service units.
- South Dakota: Provide outpatient primary care at a tribal clinic serving American Indian patients of all ages. Pediatrics support is available on-site when needed.
- Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
- Duration: 13 weeks to 6 months (extendable)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
- Chinle: Potential for telehealth or satellite clinic coverage
- South Dakota: Includes 1 hour/day of protected administrative time
- Patient Volume: 14–20 patients/day
- Deliver full-spectrum outpatient care
- Perform comprehensive exams for adults and children
- Collaborate with specialists and care teams
- Participate in quality improvement and culturally responsive care initiatives
- Maintain compliance with IHS, CMS, and privacy standards
- MD or DO from accredited institution
- Board Certification (ABFM or ABIM)
- Active, unrestricted license and DEA (any U.S. state or territory)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 6 months recent outpatient experience
- Clean background and malpractice history
- Valid driver’s license; able to pass health/security clearance

Compensation Details
$135-165/hour
Covered travel, lodging and malpractice insurance.
