Requirements Bassett MC - Oneonta & Cooperstown, NY Specialty: Physicist Start Date: December 1 , 2025 End Date: ongoing/dependent on recruitment Qualifications: -Board Certification: ABR preferred -Required Certification: Completion of Residency in Medical Physics -Licensure: Must hold a valid New York State License Schedule & Coverage: -Shift Times: Typically, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; flexibility required for early/late shifts due to machine downtime -On-Call Frequency: 1–2 times per week -Physician Coverage: Available Clinical Details: -Patient Volume: 40–50 adult cancer patients daily -Procedures Required: SBRT, SRS, HDR, Lutathera, Xofigo, Y-90 -EMR System: EPIC -Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 120 days
