  • The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Henry Ford Hospital (HFH), located in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking board eligible/certified neurologists with additional fellowship training in epilepsy to join our multi-disciplinary team. As an academic program, the HFH Epilepsy Center is active in epilepsy clinical research, and advanced neuroimaging and MEG research. Henry Ford’s epilepsy team is one of the largest and most active medically and surgically in the Midwest.

    · Most advanced medical and surgical treatment including laser ablation and neurostimulation implant therapies

    · Practice completes over 10,000 epilepsy visits and 5,500 EEGs annually

    · Recognized by the National Associations of Epilepsy Centers as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center

    · 2 state-of-the-art Epilepsy Monitoring Units admit an average of 300 patients per year

    · Growing critical care EEG program

    · HFH has 1 of 40 magnetoencephalography (MEG) brain imaging systems in the country

    · Opportunities for EEG and intra-operative monitoring

    · Opportunities for teaching/mentoring and research

    As an academic program, the HFH Epilepsy Center is active in epilepsy clinical research, and advanced neuroimaging and MEG research. Additionally, Academic appointment opportunities are available through our Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences partnership.

    Qualifications - External

    · Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency.

    · Must be board eligible/certified in Neurology.

    · Must have completed or currently completing an ACGME/AOA approved Epilepsy fellowship.
