Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is recruiting a full-time Neurohospitalist physician to join our team at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA.
Job Duties
- Employed position with flexible schedule
- High growth inpatient consults due to hospital expansion
- If interested, academic opportunities such as teaching, participation in Grand Rounds, Journal Club and Case Discussions can be made available through the academic branch of the division
- Primary Stroke Center Certification (JC) – State-of-the-art equipment with 24/7 Stroke Alert Team and 24/7 Tele stroke Support by the AHN Cerebrovascular Center.
- EPIC Electronic Health Record
- Two Intensive Care Units (40 beds) with in house intensivists 24 hours/day
- Full neuroimaging capabilities (MRI/MRA, CT/CTA, cerebral angiography)
- Physician extender (CRNP) support
Job Qualifications
- Completion of ACGME approved Neurology Residency
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment

AHN Neuroscience Institute:
Our Institute integrates renowned experts in the subspecialties of neurology, neuroradiology, neuro-critical care, and neurosurgery to offer leading-edge diagnosis and treatment for patients with the most complex neurological disorders across 7 hospitals throughout Western PA.
The Neuroscience Institute currently staffs over 25 neurosurgeons, 37 neurologists and 64 advanced practice providers who specialize in a myriad of neurosurgical disorders, including brain, spine and skull-based surgery, stroke, movement disorders, cranial nerve disorders, neuro-oncology, epilepsy, headache, neuromuscular disorders, dementia, and concussions to name a few. The Institute has a quaternary care facility within Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) in Pittsburgh PA, that includes a level 1 trauma center, and a level 2 trauma center located at Forbes Regional Hospital (FRH), located in Monroeville, Pa.
