Hematology/Oncology Opening in Virginia

Hematology/Oncology Locums Opportunity – VA Assignment Length: 3 months Coverage Type: Clinic only (no call) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (last patient scheduled at 3:40 PM) Days: 4–5 days per week (days negotiable) Daily Volume: 13–15 patients Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Work Details: • Outpatient Hem/Onc clinic treating solid tumors and malignant hematology • High volume of benign hematology cases (e.g., iron deficiency anemia) • No bone marrow biopsies performed in clinic; transplants referred out • Robust multidisciplinary support including APPs, oncology RNs, infusion nurses, pharmacists, social work, nutrition, navigators, research support, and on-site lab • EMR: Epic / Beacon

Requirements: • Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology • Active Virginia license required (must be in hand; not willing to license) • Virginia DEA required • BLS required • Minimum of 2 years’ experience

Credentialing Timeframe: • Emergency privileges will be requested
