Open Rank, Clinical Faculty - Transplant Nephrology (MTI)

Qualifications:

• Board certified in Surgery and completed a fellowship in Transplant Surgery and has more than 5 years of transplant experience focused on kidney transplant patients.
• Member in good standing of the hospital staff.
• Currently licensed to practice in Florida.
• Minimum of five years clinical experience in Transplantation.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to accept and implement change.
• Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions.
• Demonstrated history of positive collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, administrators and patients.
• Ability to show leadership qualities in the past.

Business Development/Community Outreach:

• Maintain relations with referring physicians and community organizations whose activities relate to these transplants.
• Participate in and support business development activities to increase physician patient referrals.
• Participate in the development of business development and community collateral materials.
• Serve as a resource for referring physicians and provide timely response and feedback.
• Oversees and participates in fundraising activities in support of transplant needs.
• Participate in hospital, physician and community outreach activities as may be requested by administration.
• Participate in transplant community and physician education.
