The University of California, Irvine, Department of Neurology is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neuro-Oncologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have clinical and research experience in neuro-oncology field. Clinical duties include inpatient and outpatient neuro-oncology care, participation in clinical trials and the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students in an adult hospital and comprehensive cancer setting.
Basic qualifications:
• M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
• BE/BC in Neurology or Hematology-Oncology
• Experience and/or fellowship training in Neuro-Oncology

ABOUT THE TEAM
The University of California, Irvine offers an outstanding research and collaborative environment with a strong clinical program, along with basic and translational research, and close-knit workflows with outstanding neurosurgeons already established in Neuro-Oncology. Program interests include stem cell and immune therapy for brain tumors, advanced therapies for a variety of CNS solid tumors, CNS lymphoma, metastatic brain and spinal cord cancers, neurological complications of cancer and its treatment, cancer related auto-immune encephalitis, adult transition of Pediatric brain tumors, palliative supportive care for neuro-oncology patients. The UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center is designated as a National Cancer Institute (NCI) Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Compensation Details
$220-289k
• 24 days of PTO (academic faculty appointed on a fiscal-year basis accrue vacation/personal days at the rate of 2 working days per month for full-time service) • 21 days of standard paid leave to attend professional meetings • 14 paid holidays per year • PSLF eligible employer • UC Retirement System, which includes pension plan option.
