EP Physician needed - northern TN - 1 week/month

Coverage Details:

• Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts / shifts + call, etc): Hourly & Call. 1 week per month, Monday-Friday (hourly), 1 weekend of call per month, Saturday & Sunday

• Frequency of any Call needed: 1 weekend per month, weekend call runs Friday 6p-Monday 7a. Some general cardiology coverage.

• Schedule Details: (start / end times, days of the week, etc): Monday-Friday approximately 7am-6pm with some variation based on inpatient service needs. Hospital-based coverage is predominant. 24hr weekend Call begins Friday 6p through Monday 7a.

Work Details:

• Support staff: 1 Electrophysiology APP provided to assist with hospital-based services

• Department Description: Electrophysiology

• Patient Volume: Inpatient service: Approximately 15 patients, with 2–3 device implants per day

• Patient Age Group: 18+

• EMR/Documentation System: Epic

• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Predominantly inpatient implantable cardiac devices and ablative therapies as needed. Additional procedures include: Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs), Cardioversions with moderate sedation

• Special Equipment Used: CARTO mapping system, Abbott mapping system, Opal HDx mapping system
