Practice Setting

• Level II Trauma Center
• Inpatient focus with some clinic coverage
• Full hospital support staff including ICU and surgical teams
• 130 hospital beds and 24 ICU beds

Schedule

• 24-hour call shifts (7a–7a) via personal cell
• Weekends typically Friday to Monday or Tuesday
• Clinic coverage as needed during weekday call shifts
• Clinic hours: 9a–12p or 1:30–4p

Procedures and Cases

• All trauma-related vascular surgery cases
• 15–25 calls per shift
• No splitting of weekend coverage

Requirements

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Active California license
• ACLS and ATLS certifications
• Minimum 24 months of experience
• 15-minute call response time

Credentialing Requirements

• 60-day standard process
• Emergency/temporary privileges available
