Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician - Maryland
Join a leading cancer center in Towson, Maryland, for a long-term Hematology-Oncology locums assignment offering a steady schedule and work-life balance.
Highlights
- Long-term assignment with consistent coverage needs
- 4-day clinic week, Monday through Thursday
- Manageable volume of 12 to 15 patients per day
- Facility willing to wait for Maryland licensure
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage
- Adult patient population
- Supported by an inpatient APP during daytime hours
- Epic Beacon EMR system
Schedule
- Full-time or at least 2 weeks per month
- Clinic Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- One weekday of inpatient consults with night call
- Weekend call only every 4th weekend
Cases and Procedures
- General Hematology and Oncology: new consults and follow-ups
- Routine procedures within standard HemOnc scope
- Balanced clinic and inpatient caseload
Requirements
- Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
- Active or in-process Maryland license (client will wait)
- BLS, DEA, and CSR certifications
Travel and Accommodations
