Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) Opportunity - Inova Endocrinology Springfield Inova Health System is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our Endocrinology team at the Springfield outpatient clinic. About the Role
As an Advanced Practice Provider with Inova Endocrinology, you will provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and adrenal and pituitary conditions. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled physicians and other APPs to deliver evidence-based, patient-focused care.

APP Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments, including comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage endocrine conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth of the endocrine program.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Certification: Board certified or board eligible as a PA or NP.
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted license to practice as a PA/NP in the state of Virginia.
  • Schedule: Full-time position, Monday - Friday

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in endocrinology or internal medicine is preferred but not required; new graduates with a passion for endocrinology are encouraged to apply.
