Overview

We are seeking a per diem neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our team of nine neonatologists, eight neonatal nurse practitioners and a PA to provide care to patients in suburban Atlanta. Piedmont Fayette Hospital has a rapidly expanding delivery service and has recently expanded to a 20-bed Level-III NICU with approximately 2,500 births annually.

Responsibilities

  • Attend high-risk deliveries, assessing and rounding on newborns in the NICU
  • Provide well-newborn services
  • Coverage is predominately at Piedmont Fayette Hospital; however, our practice also covers at two other Level-III nurseries in the Atlanta area, providing opportunities to practice at more than one facility
  • Though there will be some flexibility in scheduling, we anticipate the nurse practitioner will provide in-house, eight-hour per day shift coverage, with no night call duties

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master’s degree
  • GA license required
  • Recent experience required
