Ophthalmologist - Caring for Vets - Negotiable Compensation

Ophthalmology Physician – Glaucoma Specialist (Board Certified/Board Eligible) Columbia VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC, serving our nation's veterans.

Standard onsite clinic hours, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating off-hours, weekend, and holiday call coverage as assigned.

Compensation package is negotiable!

• Provide comprehensive clinical and surgical ophthalmology care, with emphasis on glaucoma, consistent with American Academy of Ophthalmology and VA eye care standards.
• Perform outpatient clinic visits, inpatient consultations, and operative procedures, and ensure timely completion of consults and procedures, generally within required VA timeframes.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency; glaucoma fellowship strongly preferred.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology through the American Board of Ophthalmology.
