Preceptors Needed (Nationwide) – Clinical Rotations for New Physician Associate Program

About the Position: AMOpportunities (AMO) is partnering with the University of New Haven’s new Physician Associate (PA) program to secure clinical training sites nationwide. They are seeking preceptors across five specialties to support their accreditation submission.
Preceptors have the flexibility to host students when it works best for their schedule and practice. Programs can be customized to align with clinic operations and staffing bandwidth. AMO handles all administrative work (including marketing, student vetting, onboarding, documentation, and scheduling) so you can focus on teaching the next generation of providers.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate a 35–40 hour/week rotation that includes direct patient interaction, observation, and didactic learning
- Provide supervision for all clinical activities
- Complete required evaluations and sign off on documentation as needed
- Maintain timely communication with AMO and school partners
- Uphold professionalism and compliance as outlined in the school’s affiliation agreement
Skills/Experience:
- Must be a licensed and practicing MD, DO, PA-C, or NP in the U.S. with license in good standing
- Board-certified in your practicing specialty (or NCCPA certified for PAs)
- Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Psych, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General Pediatric Medicine, or Surgical Medicine
- Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical education

Compensation Details
$1,800-2,200/month
Part time, stipends start at (negotiable) •$250/wk/student – Medical Students •$125/wk/student – PA students •Hourly for nursing and other student types available Can take multiple students/month
