# Providers Needed: 1 just cover listed dates

Duties: ED OB labor and delivery call coverage- for drop in's from the ED

Required Procedures: vag delivery, emergency C-Section, Gyn emergency surgery

EMR: Paragon

Patients per Day: Unknown

Support Staff: Hospitalist (medicine) not OB, Pediatricians

Reason for Coverage: FP/OB- On FMLA

1.      Clinic or call coverage?  Call coverage

2.      Patient Volume? Number of deliveries? 15-25 deliveries a month

3.      What is your NICU level? Level I 

4.      Any high-risk patients? Where do you ship if they don’t have high-risk? Yes and no prenatal care; ship to Women's Hospital of Texas 

5.      Any support staff? Do you utilize Midwives?  Pediatricians, No

6.      Any case Logs requirements for C-Sections or deliveries? Yes, 10 case logs  

7.      What does orientation/training look like? Department tour OR/L&D, Paragon training, badges  

8.      Is there in-house anes? MFM support? No in-house (oncall), MFM support (via telephone)

9.      Minimum years of experience? >5 years

Timeframe: ASAP

Requirements: Clean file for temp privileges 

Credentialing with other facilities?  No

Billing enrollment: Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less?  No

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• Active TX license - REQUIRED
• OB/GYN Fellowship - REQUIRED
• BLS/ACLS - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice - REQUIRED
• Provider must be available for ALL dates listed in the job for consideration - REQUIRED
