## GI Locums in Texas - Flexible 1-2 Weeks Per Month

We're looking for a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Physician for an ongoing locums assignment in Texas. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of only 1-2 weeks per month and paid holidays, ideal for balancing your professional and personal life.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient & outpatient settings.
• Support staff includes 2 APPs, 1 MA, and 2 admin.
• Primarily General GI cases, including new patient access and hospital consults.

Schedule

• ASAP - ongoing dates still available.
• Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM, and Friday, 8 AM - 12 PM.
• Includes a mix of clinical and procedure days.

Procedures and Cases

• Perform EGD and Colonoscopies.
• Anticipate 10-20 patients per day.
• Handle approximately 3 phone consults, 1 callback, and 3 admissions daily.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active Texas medical license or Open to IMLC Physicians.
• ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.
