Key Job Responsibilities:

- Support for research and/or programmatic participation/development will also be considered.
- Service and Teaching

- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
- Clinical
-
- Elective inpatient and outpatient practice will primarily occur at University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center. A new state-of-the-art outpatient clinic at The Eastpark Medical Center is an outpatient clinic that opened in 2025 and includes multi-disciplinary breast and cutaneous oncology clinics. UW Health is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and the Commission on Cancer.
- Additional clinical opportunities may exist at UW Health Northern Illinois in Rockford, IL.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate is required to have a Wisconsin medical license by the appointment start date.
- Board certification or board eligibility from the American Board of Surgery, American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, or equivalent is required by the appointment start date.
- Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges by the appointment start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a fellowship in Surgical Oncology and/or Breast Surgery by appointment start date is strongly preferred
- For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on CHS Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS Track.
- For an appointment at Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor rank on CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CT Track.
