*Radiation Oncology Physician locums opportunity in Michigan near Alpena County Regional Airport offering part-time coverage in a growing cancer center. *

Highlights

• 3 days per week, Tuesday through Thursday preferred
• 6-month assignment
• Modern Varian TrueBeam technology
• Strong onsite clinical support team

Practice Setting

• APEx-accredited cancer center
• 90 percent outpatient, minimal inpatient consults
• Dedicated dosimetrist and system-wide physics team
• No APPs onsite

Schedule

• 8am to 4:30pm clinic hours
• Approximately 20 patients per day
• Weekly tumor board participation
• Optional weeknight call while onsite

Cases and Procedures

• Breast, prostate, and lung predominately
• 3 to 5 new consults per week
• 9 to 12 follow-ups weekly
• IGRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, HDR

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncology Physician
• Active Michigan license
• BLS
• Minimum 25 treated patients in the past 12 months
