Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Physician specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) to provide expert inpatient care across our Delaware facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a supportive local leadership team—including the Division CMO and Hospital CEO, who are actively involved in the interview process—and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes in both clinical and administrative capacities.

This position can support a Medical Directorship for one of the 2 full-time equivalent roles currently open.

What You'll Do

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient care for patients with physical and cognitive impairments, disabilities, and pain-related conditions
• Perform electrodiagnostic testing, injections, and other therapeutic procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive patient progress and optimize care plans
• Lead or contribute to admissions, pre-admission screenings, and rehabilitation treatment plans
• Participate in hospital leadership discussions and help shape patient care policies
• Document and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with all standards
• Provide mentorship and education to clinical staff through lectures and training sessions

What We're Looking For

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
• Active Delaware medical license (or eligibility)
• Completed PM&R residency (ACGME-accredited)
• Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Prior leadership or Medical Director experience is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-focused mindset
