Indiana University seeks an accomplished physician-scientist to lead its nationally recognized Multiple Myeloma Program within the Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center. This leadership opportunity spans clinical, research, and educational missions across IU’s integrated academic health system.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee clinical operations and strategic direction across multiple hospitals and cancer centers.
· Lead a comprehensive research portfolio in myeloma and related plasma cell disorders.
· Advance translational and cellular therapy initiatives in partnership with HHM Research Program and Brown Center for Immunotherapy.
· Mentor faculty and trainees; support program development and academic excellence.
· Collaborate with external partners to drive innovative, investigator-initiated trials and translational research.
Qualifications
· MD, DO, or MD/PhD with board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
· Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in clinical or translational myeloma research.
· Established, extramurally funded research program (e.g., NIH R01 or equivalent).
· Strong academic record and publication history in hematologic malignancies.
· Associate or Full Professor rank (or equivalent qualifications)
