Dynamic Multiple Myeloma Physician Director Opportunity | Indiana University Health

IU Health and the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology seeks a physician leader to join our team!  The candidate should have an outstanding record of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and a focused area of research activity in Multiple Myeloma.  

• Academic practice with focus on clinical care, research and education 
• 75% Clinical, 25% Academic 
• Academic Rank at a Professor or Associate Professor level 
• Practice locations include University Hospital, Eskenazi Hospital, and Simon Cancer Center 
• 20% inpatient / 80% outpatient 
• BC in Hematology required 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan 20% inpatient / 80% outpatient 
• Oversee the interdisciplinary team and residents/ medical students in all aspects of their assigned duties 
• Provide medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services 
• Participate in clinical research projects of interest in cooperation with the medical research department
