Job Highlights
Rockland Psychiatric Center (RPC) and Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Center (RCPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists for inpatient and outpatient positions. The inpatient hospital is located in Orangeburg, New York. Outpatient clinics are located in Mount Vernon, White Plains, Peekskill, Putnam, Dutchess, Newburgh, and Middletown; ACT Teams are located in Orange and Dutchess Counties.
Psychiatrists at RPC and RCPC are part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides comprehensive, patient-centered, and holistic team-based care to individuals with mental illness including:
· Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and patient admissions
· Creating treatment plans including medication management
· Obtaining and reviewing appropriate laboratory tests and consulting with members of treatment team as needed

OMH’s Division of Forensic Services provides mental health services for justice-involved individuals which includes:
• Three accredited secure forensic psychiatric centers and one regional forensic unit
• Prison-based mental health satellite units
• Residential programs located within prison facilities
• Secure treatment and rehabilitation facilities for the care and treatment of individuals confined under the sex
offender civil management initiative
• Community-based training and technical assistance services for local governmental units, including Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training and diversion services
Compensation Details
$270-310k
