Position Details

The ideal candidate will perform a full spectrum of bread-and-butter general surgery including minimally invasive procedures.

• Joining 3 other General Surgeons in busy practice with APP support
• Hospital is a major referral transfer center for Southern NM; Trauma Level III
• 2 Da Vinci Xi Robots available onsite
• 11 ORs in the hospital with flexible block scheduling
• Shared ER call 1:4
• Clinic is on hospital campus
• Robust hospitalist program in place to reduce need for admissions and focus on consultations
• Hospital administration support
• Teaching opportunities with FM residency and Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Comprehensive Cancer Center with clinical trials and active collaboration between oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, etc.
