Locum Opportunity – NP (General Medicine) | IN | $450/$900 + $650 Training Bonus | PRN, Non-Treatment Exams

Job Overview

Seeking General Medicine Nurse Practitioners to perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments on a PRN basis in Indiana. Providers will either work at designated locations (within 50-mile radius) or from their own office (also within 50 miles of listed cities).

This role focuses on interview-based evaluations with limited physical assessments. It is non-prescribing and non-treatment, with standardized training provided.

Current Indiana Openings

1. Knox- 2 days per week needed- Provider's home address must be within 50 mile radius
2. South Bend- 2 days per week needed- Provider's home address must be within 50 mile radius

Provider’s own office locations- Provider must have their own office

1. Seymour, IN- 2 days per week needed- 50 mile radius required
2. Kokomo- 2 days per week needed- 50 mile radius required 
3. Muncie- 2 days per week needed- 50 mile radius required 

Key Details

• Exams are standardized: primarily interview-based, some ROM & muscle strength testing
• No prescribing, no ongoing treatment
• Quick credentialing & onboarding process
• PRN, ongoing need
• Local candidates only (travel included in rates)

Requirements Preferred Background Additional Information

• AANP Certified – Active & unrestricted full license
• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory & cardiovascular conditions
• Must be willing to complete DMA training (to become DMA certified)
• Must own a laptop (no Apple/Mac products)
• CV must include current home address
• Willing to complete required addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic reviews as part of the daily rate
• Local provider with own office space
• Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or General Medicine experience
• Prior experience with Compensation & Pension exams a plus
• Government contractor opportunity supporting Veterans
• Exams are structured, standardized, and focused solely on evaluation
• Not a treatment or prescribing role
