Ophthalmology Locums Opportunity

Start Date: April 20 Assignment Length: Through June 30 (with July dates available) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Day Call Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Credentialing: 6–8 weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist for a locums assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. This opportunity includes a mix of outpatient clinic, OR time, inpatient consults, and scheduled day call coverage.

​

Primary surgical focus is cataract surgery.

May Coverage:

• 5/4–5/6: Clinic
• 5/11–5/12: Day Call
• 5/13–5/15: Clinic
• 5/18: Clinic
• 5/19: OR
• 5/20: Day Call
• 5/21–5/22: Clinic
• 5/26: OR
• 5/27–5/29: Day Call

June Coverage:

• 6/1–6/4: Clinic
• 6/8–6/10: Clinic
• 6/22: Clinic
• 6/23: OR
• 6/24–6/25: Clinic
• 6/29–7/2: Clinic

July Additional Dates Available:

• 7/6: Day Call
• 7/7: Clinic
• 7/13–7/16: Clinic
• 7/20–7/24: Clinic
• 7/27–7/30: Clinic & OR

Requirements

• Board Certified in Ophthalmology
• Comfortable performing cataract surgery independently
• Willing to provide clinic, OR, and day call coverage
• COVID vaccination required
