The Norton Healthcare Emergency Medicine Department is recruiting board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physicians, specifically nocturnists. The selected candidates will join more than 60 physicians and 40 advanced practice providers in the emergency departments at our five adult-service hospitals in Louisville, Kentucky.

About the Position

  • For candidates board certified by American Board of Emergency Medicine/American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine or eligible for certification
  • Locations covered: Norton Audubon Hospital, Norton Brownsboro Hospital, Norton Hospital, Norton West Louisville Hospital and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital
  • Eight- to 10-hour shifts, flexibility to work full time or part time; day shift or nocturnist models available
  • Collaborative work model with advanced practice provider team
  • Continuing medical education (CME) opportunities within Norton Healthcare and funds available for additional CME
  • Opportunity for student loan forgiveness with not-for-profit status
  • $30,000 sign-on bonus; $10,000 to $15,000 relocation assistance
