** Practice Overview**
- Join a collaborative team of 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 3 Physician Assistants
- 95% surgical focus; ½-day weekly post-op clinic—no new consults, no rounding
- Assist on a variety of cases, including CABG, valve replacements, thoracic resections, robotic-assisted surgeries, and aortic work
- Endoscopic vein harvesting is required; endoradial experience a plus (training available)
Schedule

5-day workweek; 4.5 days in the OR, ½-day in clinic (post-ops only)
- Average 2–3 cases per day; mix of heart and thoracic surgeries
- Secondary call structure with 1 weekday on-call and 1 weekend per month; backup for emergency cases
- Additional shift pay available for after-hours cases

** Candidate Requirements**
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with 3–5+ years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
- Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting
- Must hold NCCPA certification
