OBGYN or FPOB Physician needed in Iowa ASAP

Specialty Needed: OBGYN

Scope of Coverage Needed:

• 4-5 days/wk of clinic
• Weekly hospital & OB call rotation (1-2 days per week plus 1-2 weekends per month)
• Will take partial, part time coverage as well

Specific Dates of Need: As soon as credentialed. 45-60 day average time for them right now.

OB/GYN:

# of deliveries per month/year? Approximately 300-350 deliveries per year.

# of clinic patients per day? Clinic: 16-18 ppd; call:

Will they need to perform OB & GYN cases? Deliveries, unscheduled/emergency c-sections (if qualified)

C-sections & GYN surgeries? C-sections are not required, but will allow if the doc is trained and credentialed to do so.

Is there MFM on staff? If not, where is high risk sent? No MFM on staff – high risk are shipped to Omaha, NE or Des Moines, IA (both are approximately 100 miles, 1:45 drive)

Support Staff: 1.5 employed FP/OB physicians. No APPs or CNMs in OB. 24/7 anesthesia call provided by a partner group

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS. BC preferred.

NICU Level/ Trauma Level: No Trauma
