🧠 Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Locum

A Hospital in Worcester, MA is seeking a board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for an ongoing inpatient locum assignment starting September 25, 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a 22-bed acute psychiatric unit within a respected, private hospital affiliated with Tenet Healthcare.

• Facility: Hospital (MA)
• Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
• Start Date: 9/25/25
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Clinical hours only (no call)
• Practice Setting: Inpatient psychiatry
• EMR: Cerner
• Team: 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 1 PA/NP
• Patients/Day: 10–12
• Bed Count: 22
• Population: Child & Adolescent

Preferred Expertise:

• Anxiety, affective, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders
• Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, restraint application

Treatment Modalities:

• Pharmacotherapy
• Group & family therapy
• ECT
• Board Certification: Required
• License: MA or IMLC
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days
