Locums Neurological Surgery Physician in Springfield, Missouri - One Week Per Month, Long-Term

Provide dedicated endovascular stroke call coverage with a predictable monthly schedule and low phone consult volume in an inpatient setting.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient endovascular stroke call coverage
• Collaborate with stroke specialists, neurohospitalists, and dedicated stroke support staff
• Manage interventional stroke call with approximately 3 to 4 phone consults per 24-hour period
• Ability to take patients from call to the operating room or interventional suite as needed

Schedule

• Seven to ten days of coverage per month
• 24-hour beeper call from 7:00 am to 7:00 am
• Call-only assignment with no clinic responsibilities
• Immediate response required while on call

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
• Active Missouri medical license required
• ACLS and BLS required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided
• Travel accommodations arranged according to assignment guidelines
