A well-respected Connecticut-based healthcare system is seeking a locum tenens Hematology/Oncology physician to provide coverage during a provider's leave. This role includes a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults, with a light call schedule and excellent support staff.

• $530/hour compensation
• 3 clinic days per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• Infrequent call: 1:10 nights, weekends only 2–3x/year
• Approx. 10 patients/day inpatient, 15 patients/day outpatient
• 80% Hematology / 20% Oncology (no Internal Medicine duties)
• Adults & geriatric population
• Level I Trauma Center
• EMR: Epic
• Onsite team includes 10 physicians & 8 APPs
• Long-term assignment; credentialing takes ~130 days
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology – Required
• Active CT medical license – Required at submission (no exceptions)
• Must not require Internal Medicine responsibilities
