Requirements Locums- Anesthesia *OPEN SHIFTS ATTACHED* Subject to change if other providers confirm. We are looking for 2 providers to fill this need. *Please refer to update on the privileging timeline for this job* *As stated below providers MUST be willing to work nights and weekends* Requirements for the bids in order to be accepted: Overtime hours must apply after 12 hrs. Guaranteed hours are 8. OT Policy: Overtime must be pre-approved by medical director by end of shift. *PROVIDERS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE CA LICENSE TO BE PRESENTED. IF WE FIND THEY DO NOT, NAME CLEAR WILL BE REVOKED.*If provider has a permanent CA DEA that is preferred but not required. Please note, the providers all work together and share the shifts but if they are not willing to do night/weekends that would make it very hard for our perms so please ensure providers are willing to do so. Primarily we need providers who would be willing to cover nights and weekends in addition to day shifts available. Please note that providers will not be thrown onto night shifts until they have worked a few weeks on the day shift with other physicians. Once comfortable then they will be scheduled nights. Weekday Shifts can vary from 8-12 hrs. Call is beeper call and on weekends remote. Weekend shift are as follows: Weekend Day 1- 7a-7p (12hour guarantee), Weekend Day 2 - 7a-7a (24 hr call, 2nd call), Weekend Nights- 7a-7a (24 hr call, 3rd call during the day and 1st call at night) Shifts can vary the longest shift is 7a-7p and the shortest is 3p -11p. Call is beeper call and on weekends remote. Please note the following travel deviations from our contract will apply to the assignment (or current confirmation agreement): • NOT reimbursed: o Mileage from provider’s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return. o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from provider’s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return. • WILL be reimbursed: o Airport parking at provider’s departing airport if provider drives themselves to the airport. o Insurance policies for rental cars must be pre-approved, prior to booking, otherwise it will not be reimbursed. o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from destination airport to hotel/lodging for assignment, as well as from lodging to hospital/clinic, and return trips.
