🚨 Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed | Level II Trauma | NJ Hospital Coverage

Position: Locum Cardiac/General Anesthesiologist

Location: New Jersey

Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center

EMR: Cerner

Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing: 45–60 days)

Schedule:

Shift varies based on surgical schedule and hospital needs

Includes weekday, night call, and weekend call coverage (optional)

8-hour or 12-hour shifts starting at 7 AM

​

Required Procedures:

General Surgical (Adult), Thoracic (non-Open Heart), Complex Vascular, Open Heart, Regional, Spinal, and IV Regional Anesthesia

​

Insertion/Management of:

TER

PA Catheter

Arterial Line

Central Line

Ventilation Management

​

Supervision: Required to supervise CRNAs Requirements

​

Board Certification in Anesthesiology – Required

​

Active New Jersey License – Required

​

ACLS and BLS (AHA) – Required

​

Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia – Preferred

Proficiency in Open Heart, Thoracic, and Complex Vascular Cases – Required

Experience Supervising CRNAs – Required

Familiarity with Cerner EMR – Preferred

Compensation & Benefits

$430-$450/hr

✈️ Travel Reimbursement: Hotel, flight, rental car, and mileage (IRS rate)
