🔸 Assignment highlights

• Call-only, in-house coverage at a 457-bed inpatient facility; start ASAP and ongoing.
• Target is 14 days per month, scheduled as 7 days at a time (no weekend-only coverage).

🩺 Daily flow - Rounding includes assigned plus unassigned patients; typical volume is 3–5 patients per shift.

🧰 Procedural support - Expect 3–5 consults per 24-hour shift with 2–3 surgical call-backs per 24 hours.

🖥️ Environment - Trauma Level 3 hospital; stroke certified.

📞 Call - In-house call with a 30-minute response time requirement.

✅ Requirements - Board certified (minimum: certified); NC license required; BLS and ACLS required.

📅 Coverage blocks - Facility-recognized holidays for planning: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
