Nurse Practitioner Wound Care

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with wound care experience to provide patient-centered wound care in nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and community care settings in multiple locations in CT

Positions available in Danbury, Hamden, Stamford, Norwalk

​

Qualifications:

* Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANP, AGNP, FNP, ENP, or ACNP)

* Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

* WCC, CWON, or CWS certifications (recommended)

* Experience in Wound Care, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care Units preferred

* Experience in Wound vax, Debridement, skin tears, Grafting

* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess, treat, and manage complex wounds

* Clean and dress wounds using appropriate techniques and materials

* Educate patients and caregivers on proper wound care practices

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

* Monitor and document patient progress

Job Type: Contract (1099 Independent Contractor) Malpractice Insurance included

​

Compensation: $85.00 per hour Plus extra income incentives for wound Grafting and Debridement
