Arnold Paul C. Cua obtained his medical degree education from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in 1996. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at SUNY-Health Science Center Brooklyn from 1997-2000, and completed likewise his Infectious Disease fellowship at SUNY-HSCB from 2000-2002 under the auspices of faculty William McCormack, Michael Augenbraum, David Landman, Paul Riska, Margaret Hammerschlag, et al.
After completing his ID fellowship, Dr. Cua worked in Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY; and did foremost clinic Hepatitis C work at St. Lukes Clinic in Campton, KY; as well as provided ID telemedicine consultation to Saint Claire’s HealthCare in Morehead, KY.
Dr. Cua was recruited to Reno, NV where he became co-director of Infectious Disease division for Renown Medical Health Center for its main campus & its South Meadows campus for 10 years from 2005-2015. Busy clinical patient work, with oversight of Antimicrobial Stewardship administrative role. Also contracted with the California Correctional Institutions providing outpatient Infectious Disease telemedicine to the needs of the inmates.
In 2015, opportunities recruited Dr. Cua to MultiCare Health Systems in the greater Seattle area & Puget Sound area. Dr. Cua is the Infectious Disease senior consultant & acting section chief for MultiCare Auburn Medical Center & MultiCare Covington Medical Center.
